We’re building after a strong year at the top of National League Two East — the 1st XV is pushing for promotion, and we’re strengthening across the board. Four men’s sides from National League Two to local merit rugby, led by a coaching group with Premiership, Championship and representative experience across every position. Twenty minutes from London, with top-flight medical, S&C, and financial, career and relocation support for the right players.

Four men’s sides in 2025/26: 1st XV in National League Two East (Tier 4), 2nd XV at Level 7, plus the Gladiators and Grizzlies in local merit tables. Both 1st and 2nd XVs are pushing for promotion.

Head Coach Dan George — former Premiership hooker at Worcester and Gloucester — leads a coaching team that spans Premiership, Championship and representative experience across the full breadth of positions and playing styles. Backed by a top-flight S&C and medical setup, it’s the environment serious players expect.

Questions, answered
- Do I need to have played before?
- Playing experience is welcomed at all levels. The Gladiators and Grizzlies exist precisely so players returning to the game, or new to it, have a place to play competitive, enjoyable rugby.
- When and where do you train?
- Senior men train Tuesday and Thursday evenings, 7–9pm, at Woollams, St Albans (AL3 6BB). Pre-season kicks off in early July and runs through to the first league fixture in early September. New and returning players are welcome to come down to a session before committing — just drop your details in the form below.
- I'm relocating or looking for work — can you help?
- Yes. For players joining the 1st XV squad we can help with relocation and introduce you into our career network across Construction, Financial Services, Recruitment, Technology, Entertainment, Events and Hospitality.
