Colts. The next chapter starts here.
Our U17s and U18s programme is built around one idea: play the game properly, with first-class coaching and a clear way through to men's rugby at OAs and beyond. For 2026/27 we will be running a full programme across two sides, competing in League and Cup, with pre-season starting late summer. Colts Head Coach Nathan Michelow (Saracens 1st XV regular, Prem Cup Captain 25/26, England U20s) leads a coaching team built to make the step up feel like a small one.
From Colts to wherever they want to go.

Colts Head Coach
Nathan Michelow
- Saracens
- Prem Cup Captain 25/26
- England U20s
- Back Row
- Former OA
Nathan returns to Woollams as Colts Head Coach after a season on loan with us, before going on to establish himself as a Saracens 1st XV regular, captaining their Premiership Cup side in 2025/26 and representing England at U20 level. A back row with a playing career built on exactly the standards he brings to the programme.

The wider setup brings together specialist and guest coaches from within our senior Men's 1st XV, S&C support from the senior section, and continuity from the age group coaches and managers who already know many of these players. The programme is jointly overseen by the Junior and Senior Chairs, ensuring Colts sits at the heart of the club.
